CV Creator Service Guide
< GO BACK TO THE CV CREATOR
Through our experiences in the recruitment market place we understand the
need to provide a prospective employer with the information they require,
so that they are able to assess your CV and experience against the vacancy
that they are recruiting for. We would recommend tailoring your CV to meet
the specific requirements of any job advert or job specification. Your CV
should contain a number of elements that are emphasised in the CV Template,
but please feel free to add other headings.
By ensuring that the skills required in the advert / specification appear on
your CV under the listing
skills required (see CV Template) of your last three jobs, CV examiners will
focus on that area of your CV and experience. The reason for structuring
your CV in this way, is that examiners quickly scan CV's for key words rather
than readin details fully. If you emphasise your experience concisley, you
will have a better cnahce of getting the interview, which is all a CV is
intended to do.
Once you have found a vacancy either by yourself or
through our Job Search facility you can enter your CV details on the screen
and then email directly to the organisation that is recruiting. Alternatively
you can print off a copy of your CV after using the template and fax or post
it directly to the address or contact point.
You can also use Nurserve as an information source to see what other skills may
be required in any job you apply for, Job Search is an easy way of studying the
current nursing recuitment marketplace to see what other organisations are
offering to attract applicants
If you have any questions about using
the CV Creator service or applying for a specific job please call our offices.
