Can we have one for prison nurses as i have noticed there is NOTHING at al out there for help getting in or advice of how to apply, or what it may involve and there may be some students out there who are interested.
From the e-mails i receive there is a lot of interest in this unique placement and job.

Hiya, I agree! I am new today to this site. I am an LD nurse and am due to start work at a cat A prison on the DSPD unit, and I was hoping there was a prison nursing forum so that I could gain some insight into what my jobs going to be like!
If you, or you know of anyone who would be able to help me with this matter, it would be much appreciated, thanx x

I have worked in prisons for many years, one thing you need is a thick skin and mad sense of humour. Its very demanding but interesting, you either love or hate it!
