NURSING OPPORTUNITIES IN ST HELENA

The St Helena Government is offering the following exciting opportunities for UK qualified and registered nurses who are willing to meet the varied challenges of working within the small community of this remote UK Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean:–

•Senior Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Mental Health
Experienced senior practitioners must have 5 years post registration experience (minimum) in community psychiatric care, with particular emphasis on child & adolescent mental health care. They must also demonstrate previous experience of being a team leader in this area of nursing. Salary: 20k per annum plus generous allowances for pension contribution, accommodation, utilities and local transport.

•3 General Staff Nurses
Experienced in General Hospital nursing to join their nursing team on this small, friendly sub-tropical island. Salary: £18k per annum plus generous allowances for pension contribution, accommodation, utilities and local transport. Successful applicants may be required to take up post from October 2010.

All Contracts are offered on a one-year basis and travel to and from the Island is also provided for the successful applicant.
