Example Interview Questions

Hi All

I am brand new to the world of nursing but after been made redundant after 6 years working for a charity i am following my dream of becoming a nurse.

I have an interview coming up for an auxilary nurse at a high dependancy unit but have no clue what kind of questions they may ask me at this interview. Can anybody help me out and let me know what kind of questions they were asked or if you are a person who does the interview what kind of qualities the person should have and what are the standard questions you may ask. Also if anybody knows any research i could do before i go it would be greatly appreciated.

What do you know about how the hospital works? What relevant work experience have you had? How would you deal with complaints from patients/ relatives? How do you feel about working in a team? In my interview they were really friendly and kind so hopefully it'll be the same for you. Just be honest and make sure you make your caring side come out because that'll help you show them that you'll be right for the job. Remember that the patients are your number 1 concern.
