Hi-Lo Manually Operated Bed With Pressure Relief Mattress
"Mr. D. is a 35 year old man"... "He is frail, has had pressure sores in the past and has considerable difficulty with eating.

Before receiving his ORO Care bed with recessed mattress.Mr. D. slept on a Hi-Low (manually operated) bed with a pressure relief mattress.

He used an array of pillows and positioning aids to assist him to maintain a good posture at night. He became extremely hot at night.

With his new bed, Mr. D. only requires the specially designed knee block" (available seperately) "for positioning at night.

He is noticeably cooler and sleeps very soundly. He is still turned every 2 hours by carers, but the lack of extra equipment makes this easier and less disturbing.

In the last 8 weeks since the delivery of his ORO bed, Mr. D. has been physically better than for some months. He is sleeping well, eating better, has no pressure areas and is generally more relaxed."
